For keeping a LOOK when temperatures heat up.

Over on the east coast, we’ve had a bit of a heat wave. And we get it, some people find that it gets more difficult to wear heavy fabrics (like denim). But here at AndAgain, denim is not strictly used for jeans. We’re going to show you how to style our Wave top when it’s 90+ and you would rather not be wearing clothes at all.

Today, the base piece of this outfit is The Wave Top. This top is inspired by, you guessed it, the ocean’s waves. This sleeveless denim top is sure to be the staple of your closet this summer. It is structured, yet has a comfortable fit to allow your skin to breathe in these peaking temperatures. It combines different washes of denim that curve around the body to create the perfect addition to your wardrobe. But in case you’re wondering how to style it, we have some tips:

With a shirt that is sure to draw attention, we see two ways to style this top.

The first short is from one of our fav. eco friendly brands, The Reformation. These 100% Linen shorts with an elastic waistband are a perfect way to stay comfortable but still look chic. Checker print mixed with hues of blue and white sounds like a good combo to us.

For all your backyard BBQ needs this 4th of July, we’re adding another bottom that we’re sure you’ll love. The red linen, cropped flare pant, also from The Reformation is the best way to stay patriotic when styling your Wave top, especially since we heard the country changed the colors to Red, White and Denim.

There’s no better time to break out the gingham then summer.  These beautiful shoes from Trademark help you pull in this print while accenting the blue and white colors from the Wave top. Some extra advantages, these flats are perfect for standing all day and into the night, and they’re made in Italy so you know the quality will withstand the test of time.

When it comes to bags, we’re sure you’ve seen everyone sporting a woven bucket bag.  We are not one’s to jump on the bandwagon, but this Sensi Studio white straw and net summer bucket bag lets you sport the trend while staying just as unique as you are.

Hoop earrings have made a big comeback. Jewelry can make or break an outfit and change a look in its entirety, but screw going with symmetric circles. These 14k gold Melissa Joy Manning earrings are versatile to be worn throughout the year, day or night and create a perfect addition to this outfit. We especially love this piece because these earrings are made from 14k recycled gold, and handmade using traditional Mexican techniques, definitely something we get behind.

Thanks for reading this week's style tip!  Now go enjoy some sun.
